Kitty Bevan12.45pm - Kitty Bevan’s Jazz Jam/Workshop

Kitty Bevan is a performer who is inspired by people from Frank Zappa to Keith Tippett, and all the way to Woody Allen and Groucho Marx! She teaches saxophone and vocals to a wide age range of pupils in the South Wales area. This includes this particular jazz workshop and jazz jam session.

 

14.30pm - Chameleon

A very lively Jazz/Funk Quartet producing some exciting sounds and solos. Went down a storm at last year’s JITP.

 

16.30pm - Still Got The Blues

Based in Pontypool this Rhythm n’ Blues band is formed from members of the Borough Blues Club. They play a mix of standards and more modern blues covering some sixty years of the genre. Always play to a full house.

 

Emily Beck Band18.30pm - Emily Beck Band

Newly formed by Emily, this eleven piece band will present a challenging set of tunes by, amongst others, Tim Garland with maybe a few originals. With the band of fine musicians, this should be a very rewarding gig.

 

 

Debbie Lear Blues Band - Copyright Borough Blues Club20.30pm - Debbie Lear

Their music is deeply rooted within the blues and incorporating as many different grooves as they can muster. Most of the band have been playing together as well as with many other local musicians for at least a decade on the South Wales music circuit.
