7.15pm - Burum

‘Burum’ was formed in 2006 when hornpipe player Ceri Rhys Matthews joined the ‘Williams Quintet’ to try out new arrangements of Welsh folk tunes. The band released its first album ‘Alawon: The Songs of Welsh Folk’ in March 2007 at the Dylan Thomas Centre, Swansea in the company of guitar maestro Jean-Paul Bourelly. 

 

9.00pm - Matt Sage

Newport’s Matt Sage is a great guitarist with the ability to play in almost all styles. For the park he’s got a band together with classic jazz tunes, but expect a deal of funky groovy rhythms.
